Much before he became a renowned Steinway artist, William B. Carr, DMA, was surrounded by music. Ever since he was a kid, his late mother, Cora Carr, played a pivotal role in shaping his path, inspiring both Bill and his brother, Dr. Jack Carr, with her love of music and wisdom.
Holding a master’s degree in international relations and business from The Wharton School, Bill bridges music, business, and education. As Chair of the Music Department at Immaculata University, he teaches business and research courses, earning the Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award for excellence in teaching. Beyond his career, Bill values home, family, and friends. He dedicates time daily to refining his craft on his family’s Steinway or the pianos at Immaculata University.
